Title: METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, AND LAMINATE
Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a laminate formed from: a layer made of a thermoplastic resin having high heat resistance; and metal foil, the laminate having small thickness unevenness, having a smooth surface, and being excellent in appearance and peel strength. Also provided are an apparatus for manufacturing the laminate, and a laminate suitable for a flexible printed board or the like with high heat resistance. The method for manufacturing a laminate comprises: a first heating step for heating metal foil; a second heating step for heating the metal foil to a temperature higher than that in the first heating step with a pressure bonding roll disposed in a front stage among a pair of pressure bonding rolls; and a laminating step for supplying, onto the metal foil, a thermoplastic resin which has high heat resistance and has been melt-extruded by an extruder, and pressure bonding the thermoplastic resin and the metal foil with the pair of pressure bonding rolls, wherein, in the second heating step, the surface temperature of the pressure bonding roll disposed in the front stage is set to 150°C-400°C. A manufacturing apparatus for carrying out the manufacturing method, and a laminate manufactured by the manufacturing method are also provided.
