Title: CIRCULAR POLARIZATION ANTENNA, ANTENNA UNIT, AND CLOCK
Abstract:
This circular polarization antenna has a high degree of freedom and has characteristics that are less likely to deteriorate due to a metal-containing casing. A first plate-like inverted-F antenna 30 and a second plate-like inverted-F antenna 40 are arranged in parallel to a circumferential wall 11 of a metallic casing 10 such that open-end sides of the antennas face each other at a prescribed distance. The first and second plate-like inverted-F antennas 30, 40 have main conductor plates 31, 41, respectively, which are curved along the circumferential wall 11. Ends, of the main conductor plates 31, 41, opposite to the open ends are respectively provided with first short-circuit portions 32, 42 which short-circuit the main conductor plates 31, 41 and the circumferential wall 11 (a metallic surface portion). Second short-circuit portions 33, 43 are respectively provided at sides slightly closer to the open ends than the first short-circuit portions 32, 42. A T-shaped power feeding unit 50 is arranged to be electromagnetically coupled with each of the open end sides of the first plate-like inverted-F antenna 30 and the second plate-like inverted-F antenna 40. The T-shaped power feeding unit 50 comprises a power feeding plate 51 arranged so as to face each of the open end sides at a prescribed interval (in a state where respective surfaces thereof are arranged so as to be opposed to each other), and comprises a power feeding line 52 electrically connected to the power feeding plate 51.
