Abstract:
A solid electrolytic capacitor provided with: at least one porous sintered body having a pair of opposing major surfaces, a side surface, and an end surface; a metal lead extending from one of the major surfaces of the porous sintered body; and first and second terminals formed of metal plates. The first terminal includes a first terminal mount portion extending substantially in parallel with the side surface of the porous sintered body, a bent portion extending from the first terminal mount portion, and a pair of L-shaped opposing arm portions extending from the bent portion substantially in parallel with the end surface. The second terminal includes a terminal connection portion which is electrically connected to a solid electrolytic layer, and a second terminal mount portion extending from the terminal connection portion. The metal lead is electrically connected to each of the pair of arm portions extending substantially in parallel with the end surface.
