Abstract:
Provided is an analysis mesh generation method for enabling the generation of an analysis mesh in accordance with actual phenomena, in a simulation for shaping with a 3D printer, and for performing an accurate shaping simulation. Specifically, an analysis mesh generation method can be used in the shaping simulation of an object to be shaped according to a tool path, the method including: a step for inputting the tool path of a product to be analyzed; a step for defining an initial mesh which is composed of many micro-elements and which includes the tool path; and a step for determining overlap between the tool path and the micro-elements, removing from the initial mesh the micro-elements that do not overlap, and saving an association, with the tool path, of the micro-elements that do overlap.
