Abstract:
(EN) The present invention reduces control overhead relating to beam selection on a base station side and a terminal side without lowering the accuracy of beam selection. A communication system provided with a base station device and at least one terminal device connected to the base station device in such a way as to be able to communicate by wireless. The base station device is constituted in such a way as to be able to control a plurality of base station beams differing in beam direction. The base station device transmits, by a corresponding base station beam, a reference signal unique to each base station beam which is utilized by the at least one terminal device for measuring the reception quality of a signal from the base station device. The at least one terminal device notifies the base station device of terminal beam related information pertaining to a terminal beam formed by the device itself. The base station device controls transmission by the plurality of base station beams on the basis of the terminal beam related information.
(FR) La présente invention réduit le surdébit de commande relatif à la sélection de faisceau sur un côté station de base et un côté terminal sans abaisser la précision de sélection de faisceau. Un système de communication comprend un dispositif de station de base et au moins un dispositif terminal connecté au dispositif de station de base de manière à pouvoir communiquer sans fil. Le dispositif de station de base est constitué de manière à pouvoir commander une pluralité de faisceaux de station de base différant de la direction du faisceau. Le dispositif de station de base transmet, au moyen d'un faisceau de station de base correspondant, un signal de référence unique à chaque faisceau de station de base qui est utilisé par ledit dispositif terminal pour mesurer la qualité de réception d'un signal provenant du dispositif de station de base. Ledit dispositif terminal notifie le dispositif de station de base des informations relatives à un faisceau de terminal appartenant à un faisceau de terminal formé par le dispositif lui-même. Le dispositif de station de base commande la transmission par la pluralité de faisceaux de station de base sur la base des informations relatives au faisceau de terminal.
