(EN) This negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a lithium silicate phase; silicon particles dispersed in the lithium silicate phase; and at least one element Me which is dispersed in the lithium silicate phase and selected from the group consisting of a rare earth element and an alkali earth metal. The composition of the lithium silicate phase is represented by, for example, the formula of Li2zSiO2+z, where 0
(FR) L'invention concerne un matériau d'électrode négative pour une batterie secondaire à électrolyte non aqueux comprenant : une phase de silicate de lithium; des particules de silicium dispersées dans la phase de silicate de lithium; et au moins un élément Me qui est dispersé dans la phase de silicate de lithium et choisi dans le groupe constitué d'un élément de terre rare et d'un métal alcalino-terreux.
