Abstract:
(EN) Provided is an internal combustion engine which is for a saddle riding-type vehicle and in which an exhaust gas sensor is attached to an exhaust system component constituting a portion of an exhaust device, the exhaust gas sensor detecting the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas flowing in an exhaust gas passage in the exhaust system component, wherein: a sensor boss (64) is provided on a side wall of the exhaust system component (44); the exhaust gas sensor (50) has, on one end thereof, a detection part (51) protruding into the exhaust gas passage (49), and is provided with a cylindrical sensor case (52) which enables air to be introduced from the other end thereof and is mounted on the sensor boss (64); and a protruding part protruding from the sensor boss (64) of the sensor case (52) is covered with a cover (66) which is liquid-tightly sealed against the outer circumference of the sensor case (52). Thus, a temperature drop due to wetting of the exhaust gas sensor can be prevented to enhance the detection accuracy of the exhaust gas sensor.
(FR) L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne qui est destiné à un véhicule du type à selle et dans lequel un capteur de gaz d'échappement est fixé à un élément de système d'échappement composant une partie d'un dispositif d'échappement, le capteur de gaz d'échappement détectant la concentration d'oxygène dans le gaz d'échappement s'écoulant dans un passage de gaz d'échappement dans l'élément de système d'échappement, dans lequel : un bossage de capteur (64) est disposé sur une paroi latérale de l'élément de système d'échappement (44) ; le capteur de gaz d'échappement (50) comprend, sur l'une de ses extrémités, une partie de détection (51) faisant saillie dans le passage de gaz d'échappement (49), et est doté d'un boîtier de capteur cylindrique (52) qui permet à l'air d'être introduit à partir de l'autre extrémité de celui-ci et est monté sur le bossage de capteur (64) ; et une partie en saillie faisant saillie à partir du bossage de capteur (64) du boîtier de capteur (52) est recouverte d'un couvercle (66) qui est scellé de manière étanche aux liquides contre la circonférence externe du boîtier de capteur (52). Ainsi, une chute de température due au mouillage du capteur de gaz d'échappement peut être empêchée pour améliorer la précision de détection du capteur de gaz d'échappement.
(JA) 排気装置の一部を構成する排気系部品に、その排気系部品内の排気ガス通路を流通する排気ガスの酸素濃度を検出する排気ガスセンサーが取付けられる鞍乗り型車両内燃機関において、排気系部品(44)の側壁にセンサーボス(64)が設けられ、排気ガスセンサー(50)は、排気ガス通路(49)に突入される検出部(51)が一端部に設けられるとともに他端部からの大気の導入を可能としてセンサーボス(64)に取付けられる円筒状のセンサーケース(52)を備え、当該センサーケース(52)のセンサーボス(64)からの突出部が、センサーケース(52)の外周との間で液密にシールされたカバー(66)で覆われる。これにより、排気ガスセンサーの被水による温度低下を防止して排気ガスセンサーの検知精度を高めることができる。
