Abstract:
A refrigerator (1) equipped with: a cooler; heaters (80A, 80B) for heating the cooler; temperature detectors (90PA – 90RB) for detecting the temperature or the temperature change rate at multiple locations in the cooler; and a control unit (100) for controlling the amount of heat generated by each of the heaters (80A, 80B). After the heaters (80A, 80B) have started heat generation, the control unit (100) determines a reference value from the temperature of temperature change rate detected by the temperature detectors (90PA – 90RB), and compares the determined reference value with the temperature or temperature change rate detected by the temperature detectors (90PA – 90RB). When the compared temperature or temperature change rate is equal to or greater than the reference value, the amount of heat generated by the heater (80A or 80B) heating the location where the temperature was detected by the temperature detector (90PA – 90RB) is reduced, or the generation of heat is stopped.
