Abstract:
(EN) A method and system of displaying a real-time glucose reading includes a computing system, a glucose monitor, and an alarm clock, wherein an acceptable glucose range is stored on the computing system. The method includes the steps of continuously receiving a set of glucose-level readings through the glucose monitor; relaying the set of glucose-level readings from the glucose monitor to the computing system; parsing through the set of glucose-level readings with the computing system in order to identify at least one outlier reading within the set of glucose-level readings, wherein the outlier reading is outside of the acceptable glucose range; relaying the set of glucose-level readings from the computing system to the alarm clock; displaying the set of glucose- level readings with a projector of the alarm clock; outputting an alert with the alarm clock, if the outlier reading is identified by the computing system.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'affichage d'une lecture de glucose en temps réel comprenant un système informatique, un moniteur de glucose et un réveil, une plage de glucose acceptable étant stockée sur le système informatique. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à recevoir en continu un ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose à travers le moniteur de glucose ; à relayer l'ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose du moniteur de glucose au système informatique ; à analyser l'ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose avec le système informatique afin d'identifier au moins une lecture aberrante dans l'ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose, la lecture de valeurs aberrantes étant à l'extérieur de la plage de glucose acceptable ; à relayer l'ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose du système informatique au réveil ; à afficher l'ensemble de lectures de niveau de glucose avec un projecteur du réveil ; à émettre une alerte avec un réveil, si la lecture de valeur aberrante est identifiée par le système informatique.
