Abstract:
The subject of the invention is a system for efficient collection and drainage of groundwater which collects groundwater continuously and thus protects the building from the groundwater with the help of water drain units that can be placed next to foundations of buildings easily and even subsequently. The system according to the invention consists of a water drainage unit, corner unit, and an extension unit joined to the corner unit. It is characterised by that, the longitudinally aligned lower collecting element (9) of the water drainage unit (1) is formed with an arched surface (61) having preferably a semicircular shape with radius (R), and one upper edge of the water collecting element (9) has a straight connecting part (62) having a given length (H), while the other edge of the water collecting element (9) has an inwardly offset flange (60) in which water inlet holes (67) are created, and has another straight upper connecting part (72) having a given height (H) extending upwards on this inwardly offset flange (60), and the width (2R) of the internal part of the arched water collecting element (9) is larger than the external width (S) of the connecting part (13) of the water drainage unit (1), and in given case the holes (67) in the inwardly setoff flange (60) are circular or rectangular, and preferably are formed at one end of the water collecting element (9) with arched fixing flange (15) and an internal arched flange (16).
