Abstract:
(EN) An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system has an array probe for acquiring a 3D image dataset of a subject. Volume rendering is performed to produce a volume image of the subject, and MPR reconstruction is performed to produce three orthogonal 2D images of the subject. The point of intersection of the three 2D image planes is locationally marked by a crosshair or other graphic in each 2D image. The corresponding location in the volume image is marked with a virtual light source which illuminates the interior of the 3D volume and is positionally linked to the location markers in the MPR images.
(FR) L’invention concerne un système d'imagerie de diagnostic ultrasonore qui a une sonde de réseau pour acquérir un ensemble de données d'image 3D d'un sujet. Un rendu de volume est effectué pour produire une image de volume du sujet, et une reconstruction de MPR est effectuée pour produire trois images 2D orthogonales du sujet. Le point d'intersection des trois plans d'image 2D est marqué de manière ponctuelle par un réticule ou un autre graphique dans chaque image 2D. L'emplacement correspondant dans l'image de volume est marqué avec une source de lumière virtuelle qui éclaire l'intérieur du volume 3D et est liée en position aux marqueurs de localisation dans les images MPR.
