Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is a thermal energy storage plant comprising a thermal energy storage, a compressor circuit and an expander circuit, wherein a. the compressor circuit comprises i. a compressor for compressing and heating a vapor, ii. a heat exchanger for delivering heat to a thermal energy storage, iii. a condenser for condensing the vapor to a liquid, and iv. an apparatus for producing a vapor for the compressor, b. the expander circuit comprises i. an expander for decompressing a vapor, ii. a condenser for condensing vapor to liquid, iii. a boiler receiving heat from the thermal heat storage, and iv. an apparatus for generating a superheated vapor for the expander. The plant is useful for effective storing and retrieval of thermal energy and the conversion thereof to electrical energy.
(FR) L'invention concerne une centrale d'accumulation d'énergie thermique comprenant un accumulateur thermique, un circuit de compresseur et un circuit d'expansion. Dans ce centrale d'accumulation d'énergie thermique: a- le circuit de compresseur comprend: i. un compresseur pour comprimer et chauffer une vapeur, ii. un échangeur de chaleur pour délivrer de la chaleur à un accumulateur thermique, iii. un condenseur pour condenser la vapeur en liquide, et iv. un appareil pour produire une vapeur pour le compresseur; b- le circuit d'expansion comprend: i. un détendeur pour décompresser une vapeur, ii. un condenseur pour condenser la vapeur en liquide, iii. une chaudière pour recevoir de la chaleur provenant de l'accumulateur thermique, et iv. un appareil pour générer une vapeur surchauffée pour le détendeur. La centrale est utile pour stocker et récupérer efficacement de l'énergie thermique et sa conversion en énergie électrique.
