Title: VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND POWER SYSTEM FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle control method for a hybrid electric vehicle, comprising: after detecting a start signal of a hybrid electric vehicle, a body control module (BCM) sending start request information respectively to a vehicle control unit (VCU), a motor control module (MCU) and an engine control module (ECM); when one of the BCM, MCU and ECM is provided with a backup module and the backup module does not receive feedback information generated by the VCU based on the start request information in a pre-set time, the backup module sending a self-inspection command respectively to a transmission control unit (TCU), a battery management system (BMS) and a sub-motor controller; and when the backup module determines that the hybrid electric vehicle meets a start condition according to received self-inspection result information fed back by the TCU, BMS and sub-motor controller and detects that the BMS loses efficacy, controlling the hybrid electric vehicle such that same runs in a fuel-only mode or a series mode or a series-parallel mode. The present invention further relates to a power system for a hybrid electric vehicle. The vehicle control method can control the hybrid electric vehicle such that same limps safely to a destination even if the VCU and BMS lose efficacy, thus ensuring the safety of the vehicle.
