Abstract:
A high-strength, thermally-insulating, soundproof, and ultrafine glass fiber for aviation and a manufacturing method therefor, consisting of an ultrafine glass fiber 75-85 wt%, an adhesive agent 15-25 wt%, and a processing additive 2-10 wt%, the content of alkaline metal oxide R2O of the ultrafine glass fiber being 14-19 wt%, the content of B2O3 being 5-7.5 wt%, the alkaline metal oxide R2O being Na2O and/or K2O, and 95% the diameter of the ultrafine glass fiber being in the normal distribution of 1-2 μm. The ultrafine glass fiber is lightweight, of a small and uniform fiber diameter, and provided with increased mechanical strength and great thermal insulation and soundproof performance.
