Disclosed are a system and method for controlling an interventional actively-controlled intelligent wheelchair. The system comprises a data collection module for collecting pressures on a chair seat and pedals of a wheelchair, and the running acceleration of the wheelchair; a wake-up module for carrying out unlocking when there is someone seated in the wheelchair according to the collected pressure on the chair seat; a state judgement module for judging, according to the acceleration of the wheelchair, whether the wheelchair is in a running state; a sitting posture reminder module for giving, when a poor sitting posture is maintained until a timeout in the running state, an alarm and sending a speed reduction signal; a pedal reminder module for giving, when feet are placed improperly or leave the pedals at a timeout in the running state, an alarm and sending a speed reduction signal; and a speed reduction control module for controlling two electric motor connectors of the wheelchair to reduce the running speed to be within the safe speed, and releasing an alarm state. According to the system and method for controlling an interventional actively-controlled intelligent wheelchair, the monitoring of a sitting posture state of a wheelchair user and a running state of a wheelchair can not only effectively monitor a body posture of the user, but also can improve the safety performance of the wheelchair.
