Title: CATHETER TWISTING DEVICE FOR VESSEL INTERVENTIONAL SURGERY ROBOT
Abstract:
A catheter twisting device for a vessel interventional surgery robot, being suitable for the field of medical devices. The catheter twisting device comprises: two spaced-apart friction blocks (1); an open-and-close mechanism (2) for adjusting and controlling a horizontal distance between the two friction blocks (1) so as to clamp or loosen a catheter; and a twisting mechanism (3) for driving the two friction blocks (1) to move upward and downward so as to twist the catheter to rotate. The catheter twisting device has a compact structure, is small and light, can be sterilized easily, and is good for medical promotion and application. The catheter twisting device can adapt to catheters with different diameters, is easy for inserting and removing a catheter, and provides a more reliable clamping of catheters. In addition, by driving the two friction blocks to move relatively upward and downward so as to twist a catheter to rotate, the twisting mechanism prevents the issue of elastic sliding motion and can avoid the issue of a tangled actuator caused by using a direct drive motor actuator to rotate the catheter, effectively ensuring continuous, reliable rotation of the catheter.
