Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of communications, and provide a channel estimation method and apparatus, resolving the problem in the prior art of low accuracy in channel estimation. The method is applied to a receiving end, the receiving end comprising N receiving antennas, and N being a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. The method comprises: the receiving end acquiring a received signal Y, the received signal Y being obtained after a pilot signal X sent by a transmitting end is transmitted through a first channel, and the transmitting end comprising M transmitting antennas; the receiving end estimating a channel vector h of the first channel on the basis of the pilot signal X, the received signal Y, and two-level Toeplitz matrices T2D(u) by using an atomic norm minimization (ANM) algorithm, the T2D(u) comprising M * M Toeplitz matrices, and the dimensions of each of the Toeplitz matrices being N * N, and the T2D(u) comprising angle of departure array information and angle of arrival array information.
