Title: METHOD FOR PREPARING FURFURYL ALCOHOL BY USING HYDROGEN TRANSFER REACTION TO CATALYZE FURFURAL
Abstract:
A method for preparing furfuryl alcohol by using a hydrogen transfer reaction to catalyze furfural. The method comprises: using low carbon alcohol as a solvent and a hydrogen source, using a zirconium compound as a catalyst, and in the low carbon alcohol, under the conditions of normal pressure and nitrogen atmosphere, performing a furfural-catalyzed transfer hydrogenation reaction to prepare furfuryl alcohol, the reaction temperature being 140-180°C, and the reaction time being 0.5-3.5h. The method has a simple process, mild reaction conditions, low production energy consumption, low production difficulty, high operation safety, is environment-friendly and safe, and has low costs, the highest conversion rate of furfural is 100%, and the highest yield of furfuryl alcohol is 98% or more, and therefore, the method is beneficial to popularization.
