The invention relates to methods for processing honey, in particular to methods for liquefying (decrystallizing) honey to a state of processing fluidity. A method for liquefying honey, in which the honey is subjected to vibrational oscillations. According to the invention, a working member of a mechanical device which generates vibrational oscillations with a frequency of from 3000 to 10000 Hz is placed into direct contact with crystallized honey in a container. As a variant, the working member simultaneously mixes the honey. Liquid honey of the same type can additionally be introduced into the area of contact between the working member and the honey. As a variant, the working member is heated. As a variant, the vibrational oscillations of the working member are implemented simultaneously in two or more frequency ranges. Technical result: the method makes it possible to liquefy honey directly in the container in which it has crystallized, and has virtually no effect on the quality of the honey and the chemical characteristics thereof.
