Title: ROTATING VIBRATING MELT PRILLING DEVICE
Abstract:
The invention relates to the technique of prilling melts in prilling towers, and more particularly to vibrating prilling devices, and can be used in the chemical industry in the production of prilled ammonium nitrate, urea and compound fertilizers. A prilling device comprises an intake device for supplying a melt, a hollow shaft mounted in a bearing assembly, a source of vibrations, and a perforated basket. A radiator is mounted inside the shaft and a rotating guide assembly is mounted on the shaft, wherein a melt is supplied to the guide assembly via the intake device. The inner portion of the guide assembly is equipped with inclined blades, and blades are mounted on the outer surface of the guide assembly. The rotating perforated basket is attached to the guide assembly, said perforated basket having discharge openings of a set diameter, which are arranged across the entire height of the side surface of the basket at different angles of inclination of the axes of the openings relative to the cross-sectional plane of the perforated basket, wherein the perforated basket is coupled to a vibrator. The result is granules of a uniform shape and size, a more intense granule cooling process, an increase in the productivity of the prilling device, and a reduction in energy consumption.
