Title: MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR FOAM MOLDED ARTICLE
Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method for a foam molded article that allows omission or simplification of a control device for a physical foaming agent and further allows stabilization of a dissolving capacity (infiltration capacity) of the physical foaming agent with respect to a molten resin. The manufacturing method for a foam molded article uses a manufacturing device including a plasticization cylinder that is provided with a plasticization screw rotatably provided therein, that has a plasticization zone in which a thermoplastic resin is plasticized and melted into a molten resin and a starvation zone in which the molten resin is in a starvation state, and that has formed therein an introduction port for introducing a physical foaming agent to the starvation zone. The manufacturing method comprises: plasticizing and melting, in the plasticization zone, the thermoplastic resin into a molten resin; introducing, to the starvation zone, a pressurized fluid including the physical foaming agent having a certain pressure; placing the molten resin under the starvation state in the starvation zone; bringing the molten resin under the starvation state into contact with the pressurized fluid having a certain pressure in the starvation zone; and molding, into a foam molded article, the molten resin brought into contact with the pressurized fluid having a certain pressure, wherein at least one pressure increased part is formed in the starvation zone.
