Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a composition having a carbon naoparticle phosphor dispersed therein, wherein the emission wavelength of the carbon naoparticle phosphor does not have excitation wavelength dependency and the quantum efficiency of the carbon naoparticle phosphor is excellent; a method for producing the composition; and a use of the composition. [Solution] In the composition according to the present invention, a carbon naoparticle phosphor is dispersed in a water-soluble solvent, wherein the carbon naoparticle phosphor contains a carbon atom, an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom and optionally a hydrogen atom, the intensity of a peak (285.98 eV) coming from a C-N bond and/or a C-O bond is larger than the intensity of a peak (284.95 eV) coming from a C-C bond and/or a C-H bond in the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic spectra of the carbon naoparticle phosphor, and the Raman spectrum in the carbon naoparticle phosphor has peaks coming from a G band and a D band.
