Title: LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE AND LIGHT PROJECTION DEVICE
Abstract:
Provided is a light source device capable of controlling a light deflector appropriately and highly accurately in such a manner that the scanning speed of a laser light is relatively slower in a predetermined scanning range, even when a high-weight scanning means, such as a high-reflectivity mirror, is used as scanning means for scanning light with respect to a wavelength conversion member. Also provided is a light projection device equipped with this light source device. The light source device (2) comprises: a laser light source emitting a laser light; a wavelength conversion member (15) converting the wavelength of the laser light into another wavelength while diffusing the wavelength-converted laser light; and a light deflector (14) causing the laser light to perform a scan over the surface of incidence of the wavelength conversion member (15) at least in one dimension. The light deflector (14) comprises a coil, and a magnetic circuit applying a magnetic field to the coil. The magnetic circuit is configured such that the relative intensity of a magnetic field applied to a coil decreases as a movable part approaches a predetermined moving position.
