Title: RADAR DEVICE AND TARGET POSITION DETECTION METHOD OF RADAR DEVICE
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a radar device which is capable of detecting a target position in a direction that is orthogonal to a viewing angle. [Solution] A radar device detects a target by using a radiowave and is characterized by including: a reception array antenna (reception antenna array 17) in which a plurality of reception antenna elements (first reception antenna 17-1 to eighth reception antenna 17-8), which have the prescribed length in a first direction, are arrayed and disposed in a second direction that is approximately orthogonal to the first direction; a dispersion unit (dispersion unit 31) which is disposed near the reception antenna array and of which radiowave dispersion characteristics change with respect to the first direction; and a detection unit (control/processing unit 15) which detects the target position in the first direction on the basis of the radiowave reflected by the dispersion unit.
