Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a flexible permanent magnet having a polymer matrix layer containing a magnetic filler dispersed therein includes: a dispersion forming step for forming a magnetic filler dispersion 10 into a sheet shape, the magnetic filler dispersion 10 being prepared by dispersing a magnetic filler in a matrix material comprising a thermosetting resin-based elastomer component; a thermal curing step for heating the magnetic filler dispersion 10 to thermally cure the same while applying a magnetic field in the thickness direction of the magnetic filler dispersion 10 formed into a sheet shape and align the magnetic filler; and a magnetization step for applying a magnetic field in the thickness direction of the thermally cured polymer matrix layer to magnetize the same, thus obtaining a flexible permanent magnet having a vertical-striped structure in which the magnetic filler is agglomerated along the thickness direction.
