Abstract:
This positive electrode active material includes a lithium composite oxide that contains at least one type selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, N, S, Br, and I. The crystal structure of the lithium composite oxide belongs to a space group R–3m. The integrated intensity ratio I(003)/I(104) of the peak of a surface (003) relative to the peak of a surface (104) in an XRD pattern of the lithium composite oxide satisfies the relationship 0.62 ≤ I(003)/I(104) ≤ 0.90.
