Abstract:
(EN) A method for providing motor vehicle wheels (1) made of composite material based on carbon fiber, which consists in dividing, during design, each wheel (1) into a plurality of portions having small dimensions; providing, with a raw material constituted mainly by carbon fibers with a predefined orientation, at least one first portion (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) with the terminal edges designed to mate with corresponding edges of at least one respective second portion (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) that has a contour that is conjugate and complementary with respect to the contour of the edges of the at least one respective first portion (2, 2a, 2b, 2c); mating the portions (2, 2a, 2b, 2c), arranging them subsequently within a respective mold whose shape and dimensions are conjugate with respect to those of the wheel (1) to be manufactured; bringing the mold and its contents to a predefined temperature; injecting into the mold a resin in the liquid state, the resin being injected at high pressure and high temperature for its diffusion in all the portions (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) and through all the interface surfaces between them, forming the matrix of the composite that constitutes the wheel ( 1 ); maintaining the pressure and temperature of the mold within predefined ranges for a time interval that is required for the at least partial cross-linking of the resin; extracting the wheel (1) from the mold.
(FR) L'invention concerne une méthode pour fournir des roues de véhicule à moteur (1) faites en matériau composite à base de fibre de carbone, qui consiste à diviser, pendant la conception, chaque roue (1) en une pluralité de parties ayant de petites dimensions ; fournir, avec une matière première constituée principalement de fibres de carbone avec une orientation prédéfinie, au moins une première partie (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) avec les bords terminaux conçus pour s'accoupler avec des bords correspondants d'au moins une seconde partie respective (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) qui a un contour qui est conjugué et complémentaire par rapport au contour des bords de la ou des premières parties respectives (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) ; apparier les parties (2, 2a, 2b, 2c), les agencer ensuite à l'intérieur d'un moule respectif dont la forme et les dimensions sont conjuguées par rapport à celles de la roue (1) à fabriquer ; amener le moule et son contenu à une température prédéfinie ; injecter dans le moule une résine à l'état liquide, la résine étant injectée à haute pression et haute température pour sa diffusion dans toutes les parties (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) et à travers toutes les surfaces d'interface entre elles, formant la matrice du composite qui constitue la roue (1) ; maintenir la pression et la température du moule dans des plages prédéfinies pendant un intervalle de temps qui est nécessaire pour la réticulation au moins partielle de la résine ; extraire la roue (1) du moule.
