Abstract:
(EN) A system and method involving using a nonlinear reversible code for probabilistic constellation shaping. A nonlinear reversible code encoder (204) receives information bits (i) and applies a nonlinear reversible code to the information bits to provide encoded bits (i+c). A mapper (206) maps the encoded bits (i+c) to successive amplitude and phase-shift keying (APSK) symbols. Each of the APSK symbols has an APSK modulation format with an associated constellation and the mapper (206) maps each of the symbols to an associated constellation location of the constellation in response to one or more associated ones of the encoded bits.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé impliquant l'utilisation d'un code réversible non linéaire pour la mise en forme de constellations probabilistes. Un codeur de code réversible non linéaire (204) reçoit des bits d'information (i) et applique un code réversible non linéaire aux bits d'information pour fournir des bits codés (i+c). Un dispositif de mappage (206) mappe les bits codés (i+c) à des symboles de modulation par déplacement d'amplitude et de phase (APSK) successifs.
