Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed herein is a method of regenerating a sorbent of gas in a capture process of said gas, wherein the capture process comprises recirculating the sorbent between a gas capturing system and regenerating reactor system, the method comprising the regenerating reactor system performing the steps of: receiving a solid sorbent to be regenerated, wherein the sorbent is a sorbent of carbon dioxide gas; generating heat by combusting a fuel with an oxidising agent in the presence of a catalyst; regenerating the sorbent by using the generated heat to indirectly heat the sorbent so that the sorbent releases carbon dioxide gas; outputting the regenerated sorbent; and outputting the released carbon dioxide gas. Advantages of the gas capture system include a higher efficiency than known techniques.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de régénération d'un sorbant de gaz dans un procédé de capture dudit gaz, le procédé de capture comprenant la recirculation du sorbant entre un système de capture de gaz et un système de réacteur de régénération. Selon le procédé, le système de réacteur de régénération effectue les étapes consistant à : recevoir un sorbant solide à régénérer, le sorbant étant un sorbant de dioxyde de carbone gazeux; générer de la chaleur par combustion d'un combustible avec un agent oxydant en présence d'un catalyseur; régénérer le sorbant en utilisant la chaleur générée pour chauffer indirectement le sorbant de telle sorte que le sorbant libère du dioxyde de carbone gazeux; délivrer en sortie le sorbant régénéré; et délivrer en sortie le dioxyde de carbone gazeux libéré. Les avantages du système de capture de gaz comprennent une efficacité supérieure à celle des techniques connues.
