Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a system and method for aligning an earth station antenna (2) with a satellite antenna (4). The method comprises the following steps: - sending an uplink signal (10) from the earth station antenna (2) to the satellite antenna (4); - measuring at least a strength of the uplink signal received by the satellite antenna (4); - sending by telemetry the measured signal strength to a telemetry station (5); - adjusting the orientation of the earth station antenna (2) in order to maximize the measured signal strength.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d'alignement d'une antenne de station terrestre (2) avec une antenne satellite (4). Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant : - à envoyer un signal de liaison montante (10) de l'antenne de station terrestre (2) à l'antenne satellite (4) ; - à mesurer au moins une intensité du signal de liaison montante reçu par l'antenne satellite (4) ; - à envoyer par télémesure l'intensité de signal mesurée à une station de télémesure (5) ; - à régler l'orientation de l'antenne de station terrestre (2) afin de maximiser l'intensité de signal mesurée.
