Title: NOVEL REACTIVE POWER OVEREXCITATION REGULATION TECHNOLOGY FOR SYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a novel reactive power overexcitation regulation technology for a synchronous generator. The method comprises: measuring the stator voltage, stator current, active power and reactive power of a synchronous generator; calculating, on the basis of stator heat and the allowable stator current, the allowable reactive power upper limit value of the generator, and calculating, on the basis of the connection reactance of the generator and a power grid, the reactive power value allowed by the minimum stator current of the generator; then, comparing the stator current with the allowable value thereof; when the actual measured stator current is greater than the allowable value, calculating the excess amount of heat of the generator stator; when the excess amount of heat of the generator reaches the upper limit of the allowable heat margin of the generator, entering a reactive power overexcitation limit regulation mode; finally, using the greater value of either the allowable reactive power upper limit value or the allowable reactive power value as the reactive power regulation target value, and maintaining the output reactive power of the generator at a level equal to the target value. The invention may ensure generator safety and help to sustain the mains voltage, thereby improving the stability of the electric power system.
