Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to systems, apparatus and methods for integrated recovery and in- situ (in reservoir) upgrading of heavy oil and oil sand bitumens. The systems, apparatus and methods enable enhanced recovery of heavy oil in a production well by introducing a hot fluid including steam and a vacuum or atmospheric residue fraction or deasphalted oil into the production well under conditions to promote hydrocarbon upgrading and mobile chamber shaping. The methods may further include introducing hydrogen and a catalyst together with the injection of the hot fluid into the production well to further promote hydrocarbon upgrading reactions. In addition, the invention relates to enhanced oil production methodologies within conventional oil reservoirs.
(FR) L’invention se rapporte à des systèmes, à un appareil et à des procédés de récupération et de traitement in situ (en réservoir) intégrés de pétrole lourd et de bitumes de sable pétrolifère. Les systèmes, l'appareil et les procédés permettent une récupération améliorée du pétrole lourd dans un puits de production par introduction d'un fluide chaud comprenant de la vapeur et une fraction de résidu sous vide ou atmosphérique ou du pétrole désasphalté dans le puits de production dans des conditions favorisant le traitement des hydrocarbures et la mise en forme de la chambre mobile. Les procédés peuvent en outre comprendre l’introduction d’hydrogène et d’un catalyseur conjointement avec l’injection du fluide chaud dans le puits de production pour favoriser davantage des réactions de traitement d’hydrocarbures. De plus, l’invention se rapporte à des méthodologies de production de pétrole améliorées dans des réservoirs de pétrole classiques.
