Title (EN) METHOD AND FORMULATION FOR AN ISOCYANATE-FREE FOAM
(FR) PROCÉDÉ ET FORMULATION POUR MOUSSE SANS ISOCYANATE
Abstract:
(EN) The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a method of making a foam. The disclosed formulation has a first part with at least one bicarbonate dispersed in at least one acrylate and a peroxide. The formulation has a second part with at least one acid, an aromatic amine and optionally water and optionally at least one water reducible acrylate. The formulation also includes a surfactant in at least the first part or the second part. The method includes combining the first part and the second part of the formulation to create a froth with a generated gaseous blowing agent. The froth is cured by free radical polymerization to produce a foam.
