Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for dispensing a nitric oxide solution, and more preferably a gas/liquid mixture of nitric oxide in a solvent, from a cylinder or other containment vessel are provided. The dispensing system and method are configured so as to maintain the nitric oxide based solution within the cylinder or containment vessel at a constant pressure above ambient pressure as the gas/liquid mixture is stored in and depleted from the containment vessel thus preventing the nitric oxide from coming out of the solution. In addition, a method of producing the gas/liquid mixture of nitric oxide in a solvent, such as deoxygenated and deionized water, as well as a cylinder filling method and apparatus are also provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de distribution d'une solution d'oxyde nitrique, et de manière davantage préférée d'un mélange gazeux/liquide d'oxyde nitrique dans un solvant, à partir d'un cylindre ou d'un autre récipient de confinement. Le système et le procédé de distribution sont conçus de sorte à maintenir la solution à base d'oxyde nitrique à l'intérieur du cylindre ou du récipient de confinement à une pression constante supérieure à la pression ambiante lorsque le mélange gazeux/liquide est stocké dans le récipient de confinement et vidé de celui-ci, empêchant ainsi l'oxyde nitrique de s'échapper de la solution. De plus, l'invention concerne également un procédé de production du mélange gaz/liquide d'oxyde nitrique dans un solvant, tel que de l'eau désoxygénée et désionisée, ainsi qu'un procédé et un appareil de remplissage de cylindre.
