Abstract:
The present invention relates to a complex multifunctional relay system and a control method therefor, by which a relay circuit can complexly perform functions, such as an overcurrent shutdown, an arc fault shutdown, and an electric leakage shutdown, the system comprising: an alternating current circuit including a neutral line and a hot line for supplying alternating current power to a load, such as an industrial machine; a power control means connected to the hot line in a parallel circuit; an isolated differential amplifier that is circuit-connected to each of the hot line and the neutral line through an ammeter shunt; a microprocessor which is connected to the power control means and the isolated differential amplifier to monitor the same, and controls power supply of the power control means according to the monitoring; a first comparator connected to the ammeter shunt and the isolated differential amplifier in a comparable manner, and connected to the microprocessor to check a ground fault; and a second comparator connected between the ammeter shunt, the isolated differential amplifier, and the microprocessor to check an arc fault.
