(EN) Provided is a structure for a vehicle body which is joined by using resistance spot welding and an adhesive in combination, and has excellent crash resistance characteristics. The present invention pertains to a structure 1 which is for a vehicle body and in which a plurality of superimposed steel plates 10, 20 are joined by the resistance spot welding and the adhesive, wherein, when the total area of a joint surface 31 joined by the resistance spot welding is AS, and the total area of a joint surface 32 joined by the adhesive is AW, an area of the joint surfaces joined by the resistance spot welding and the adhesive satisfy the relationship represented by the following formula (1). (1) 1≤100×As/Aw≤50S
