Abstract:
The present invention is able to provide: a fiber-reinforced foam particle molded article that is produced by fusing and integrating, on the surface of a foam molded article, a reinforcing material being a fabric or a braided product obtained by weaving a linear composite material, which is produced by melting and integrating thermoplastic fibers including a low-melting-point component fiber and a high-melting-point fiber, while being used as at least two types of threads selected from warp, weft and slant thread, the fiber-reinforced foam particle molded article exhibiting an excellent reinforcing effect; and a method for economically producing such a fiber-reinforced foam particle molded article by an in-mold process in a fewer number of man-hours.
