Abstract:
(EN) This reception device (display device 1 or 20) receives an image signal including image data, and is provided with: an acquisition unit (reading unit 10) which acquires gradation range designation information which designates, for an image represented by the image data, a gradation range in which gradation characteristics are adjusted; and a conversion unit (12) which converts the luminance of the image represented by the image data with reference to the gradation range designation information acquired by the acquisition unit.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de réception (dispositif d'affichage 1 ou 20) qui reçoit un signal d'image comprenant des données d'image, et qui comporte : une unité d'acquisition (unité de lecture 10) qui acquiert des informations de désignation de plage de gradation qui désignent, pour une image représentée par les données d'image, une plage de gradation dans laquelle des caractéristiques de gradation sont réglées ; et une unité de conversion (12) qui convertit la luminance de l'image représentée par les données d'image en référence aux informations de désignation de plage de gradation acquises par l'unité d'acquisition.
