Abstract:
According to the present invention, a spinning dope is used which is composed of a water-soluble organic solvent solution of a polyphenylsulfone, a hydrophilic polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and an ethylene glycol; and when a polyphenylsulfone porous hollow fiber membrane is prepared by wet spinning or dry-wet spinning, N,N-dimethylformamide in a concentration of 70-100 wt%, preferably 85-100 wt%, and more preferably 100 wt% is used as a core liquid. The resulting porous hollow fiber membrane can be prepared stably without applying a burden on environment, and provides a water purification membrane having a high hydrophilicity and an excellent filtration performance.
