Abstract:
(EN) A ratchet device (2) configured so as to be equipped with a rotatable output member (40) having a load input surface (41A), an operation input member (50) that can be pivoted, and that has a working surface (55) non-parallel to the load input surface, and movable parts (72) arranged between the load input surface and the working surface (55), and such that when a load applied to the output member is less than a prescribed load and input torque is input to the operation input member (50), the operation input member (50) and the output member rotate integrally in accordance with the pivoting of the operation input member (50). The operation input member (50) has protruding portions (54) protruding from the working surface (55) so as to approach the load input surface. The ratchet device (2) is configured such that when the load applied to the output member is equal to or greater than a prescribed load and an input torque equal to or greater than a prescribed torque is input to the operation input member (50), the protruding portions (54) make contact with the movable parts and push the movable parts, thereby causing the movable parts to slide with respect to the load input surface.
