Abstract:
(EN) A transmission includes an input shaft that couples to a prime mover, twin countershafts and a main shaft having gears coupled thereon, an output shaft that selectively provides a torque output to a driveline, a first shift actuator that selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft. The transmission includes a second shift actuator that couples the main shaft to the output shaft with a selected reduction ratio, and a controller including a vehicle state circuit that interprets at least one vehicle operating condition, and a neutral enforcement circuit that provides a first neutral command to the first shift actuator and a second neutral command to the second shift actuator, in response to the at least one vehicle operating condition indicating that vehicle motion is not intended.
(FR) L'invention concerne une transmission qui comprend un arbre d'entrée qui s'accouple à un moteur principal, des arbres intermédiaires jumelés et un arbre principal auquel sont accouplés des engrenages, un arbre de sortie qui fournit sélectivement une sortie de couple à un accouplement, et un premier actionneur de changement de rapport qui accouple sélectivement l'arbre d'entrée à l'arbre principal. La transmission comprend un second actionneur de changement de rapport qui accouple l'arbre principal à l'arbre de sortie avec un rapport de réduction sélectionné, et un dispositif de commande comprenant un circuit d'état de véhicule qui interprète au moins une condition de fonctionnement de véhicule, et un circuit d'application neutre qui fournit une première commande neutre au premier actionneur de changement de rapport et une seconde commande neutre au second actionneur de changement de rapport, en réponse à l'indication par ladite condition de fonctionnement de véhicule que le déplacement du véhicule n'est pas volontaire.
