Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a marker that can be used as aging biomarker. More specifically, the present invention relates to the analysis of nucleolar size as a biomarker for aging and metabolic health and its relation to the virtual age, or the life expectancy of animals, including humans. The aging biomarker of the invention can be used to study the effect of medication, food compounds and/or special diets on the wellness and virtual age, or the life expectancy of animals, including humans.
(FR) L'invention concerne un marqueur utilisable comme biomarqueur de vieillissement. Elle concerne plus particulièrement l'analyse de la taille nucléolaire comme biomarqueur pour le vieillissement et la santé métabolique, et son rapport avec l'âge virtuel ou l'espérance de vie d'animaux, y compris des êtres humains. Le biomarqueur de vieillissement de l'invention peut être utilisé pour étudier l'effet de médicaments, de composés alimentaires et/ou de régimes spéciaux sur le bien-être et l'âge virtuel, ou l'espérance de vie d'animaux, y compris des êtres humains.
