Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating an ultrasound sensor device (3) for a motor vehicle (3), in which method, by means of an ultrasound sensor (4), an ultrasound signal is received, and on the basis of the received ultrasound signal, an unprocessed signal (15) is output, and by means of an evaluation device (13) of the ultrasound sensor (4), a sensor signal is determined on the basis of the unprocessed signal (15), and the sensor signal is transmitted via a data line (10) to a control unit (5), wherein, by means of the evaluation device (13), to determine the sensor signal, the unprocessed signal is mixed with at least one mixed signal, such that a predetermined frequency band (21) of the unprocessed signal (15), which describes the received ultrasound signal, is converted to a lower frequency band (22), and the mixed unprocessed signal (16) is subsequently sampled.
