Abstract:
The invention relates to an optoelectronic component (100) comprising a semiconductor layer sequence (1) with an active region that emits radiation at least over a main radiation emission surface (11) during operation, a self-supporting conversion element (2) arranged in the beam path of the semiconductor layer sequence (1), the self-supporting conversion element (2) comprising a substrate (21) and a first layer (22), the first layer (22) comprising at least one conversion material (222) embedded in a glass matrix (221) that represents between 50 and 80 vol.% of the first layer (22), the substrate (21) being free of the glass matrix (221) and the conversion material (222) and being used to mechanically stabilise the first layer (22), and the thickness of the first layer (22) being less than 200 μm.
