Abstract:
Disclosed is a resource allocation method, characterized in: an access network device determining a resource block allocation field in downlink control information, wherein the size of the resource block allocation field is (I) + 5 bits, and (II) is uplink bandwidth configuration; when a value indicated by a low-5 bit in the resource block allocation field is less than or equal to 20, a high-(I) bit of the resource block allocation field indicates a narrow band, and the low-5 bit of the resource block allocation field indicates performing resource allocation in the indicated narrow band using an uplink resource allocation type 0; when the value indicated by the low-5 bit in the resource block allocation field is greater than 20, the resource block allocation field indicates a first resource indication value, wherein the first resource indication value indicates the number of resource block groups allocated to a terminal device, and a starting resource block group index; the number of the allocated resource block groups is greater than or equal to 3 and less than or equal to 8; and one resource block group includes three resource blocks; and sending the downlink control information to the terminal device. By means of the method, an access network device can flexibly allocate resources to a terminal device.
