Abstract:
Provided are a transmitter and a digital pre-distortion calibration method. An analogue feedback module in the transmitter may carry out N instances of frequency sweeping on a processed analogue signal to obtain N corresponding first digital signals; a DPD feedback update module may carry out corresponding processing on a digital baseband signal to obtain a second digital signal; finally, the DPD feedback update module may calculate an error value of a first digital signal and the corresponding second digital signal; and a DPD coefficient is determined according to the error value corresponding to the N instances of frequency sweeping, so that a DPD device calibrates the digital baseband signal according to the DPD coefficient. The analogue feedback module does not need to sample the entire bandwidth occupied by the processed analogue signal, but rather carries out frequency sweeping segment by segment, and the DPD feedback update module then carries out corresponding splicing according to a result of the segment-by-segment frequency sweeping to obtain a DPD coefficient. Accordingly, the non-linear characteristics of an output signal of a power amplifier may be accurately calculated, thereby solving the problem of the inaccurate calibration of a signal.
