Abstract
(EN) Real time status of a device's movements may be determined from a sequence of location observations. The status may be in the form of a state, which may be "stay", "transit","pause", and "unknown". A state transition may occur from transit to stay when the device has remained within a predefined radius for a predefined time period. Prior to being labeled a"stay", a device that may have ceased moving but has not stayed at that location for enough time may be labeled "pause". For those devices in a "transit" state, a mode of transport maybe determined. The real time analysis system may be a low-overhead mechanism by which new location observations may be received and processed quickly and efficiently. The resulting data may be used by traffic analysts to monitor congestion, for real time traffic data for commuters, and other uses.
(FR) L'état en temps réel des mouvements d'un dispositif peut être déterminé à partir d'une suite d'observations d'emplacement. L'état peut se présenter sous la forme d'un état qui peut être "séjour", "transit", "pause" et "inconnu". Une transition d'état peut avoir lieu du transit au séjour lorsque le dispositif est resté dans la limite d'un rayon prédéfini pendant un laps de temps prédéfini. Avant d'être étiqueté comme étant en "séjour", un dispositif ayant éventuellement cessé de se déplacer mais qui n'a pas séjourné à cet emplacement suffisamment longtemps peut être étiqueté comme étant en "pause". Pour les dispositifs qui sont en état de "transit", un mode de transport peut être déterminé. Le système d'analyse en temps réel peut être un mécanisme à faible surcharge par lequel des nouvelles observations d'emplacement peuvent être reçues et traitées de manière rapide et efficiente. Les données résultantes peuvent être utilisées par des analystes de circulation pour surveiller l'encombrement, pour des données de circulation en temps réel destinées aux navetteurs, et pour d'autres utilisations.
