An extra-vehicular communication device mounted on a vehicle is provided with: a reception unit which receives data from an external device located outside the vehicle; a position acquisition unit which, on the basis of the data received by the reception unit, creates transmission source position information indicating the position of a transmission source of the data; a correspondence information acquisition unit which acquires correspondence information indicating a correspondence relationship between surrounding position information indicating the position of an area around the vehicle and a priority level; a setting unit which, on the basis of the transmission source position information created by the position acquisition unit and the correspondence information acquired by the correspondence information acquisition unit, sets a priority level for the data; and a processing unit which processes the data in accordance with the priority level set by the setting unit.

L’invention concerne un dispositif de communication extra-véhiculaire monté sur un véhicule. Le dispositif comprend : une unité de réception qui reçoit des données, d'un dispositif externe placé à l'extérieur du véhicule ; une unité d'acquisition de position qui, sur la base des données reçues par l'unité de réception, crée des informations de position de source de transmission indiquant la position d'une source de transmission des données ; une unité d'acquisition d'informations de correspondance qui acquiert des informations de correspondance indiquant une relation de correspondance entre des informations de position environnante indiquant la position d'une zone alentour le véhicule et un niveau de priorité ; une unité de définition qui, sur la base des informations de position de source de transmission créées par l'unité d'acquisition de position et des informations de correspondance acquises par l'unité d'acquisition d'informations de correspondance, définit un niveau de priorité pour les données ; et une unité de traitement qui traite les données selon le niveau de priorité défini par l'unité de définition.
