Abstract
(EN) A wireless power transmission system has a wireless power receiving device that is located on a charging surface of a wireless power transmitting device. The wireless power transmitting device uses measurement circuitry such as coil impedance measurement circuitry or impulse-response circuitry that makes coil inductance measurements to monitor the charging surface for the presence of the wireless power receiving device. In response to detecting that the wireless power receiving device is present on the charging surface, the wireless power transmitting device and the wireless power receiving device establish a wireless communications link. The wireless power transmitting device transmits information on wireless power transmission capabilities of the wireless power transmitting device to the wirelessly power receiving device. The receiving device selects desired settings and transmits these to the transmitting device.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de transmission d'énergie sans fil comprenant un dispositif de réception d'énergie sans fil situé sur une surface de charge d'un dispositif de transmission d'énergie sans fil. Le dispositif de transmission d'énergie sans fil fait appel à un circuit de mesure tel qu'un circuit de mesure d'impédance de bobine ou un circuit de réponse impulsionnelle qui effectue des mesures d'inductance de bobine pour surveiller la surface de charge afin de détecter la présence du dispositif de réception d'énergie sans fil. En réponse à la détection du fait que le dispositif de réception d'énergie sans fil est présent sur la surface de charge, le dispositif de transmission d'énergie sans fil et le dispositif de réception d'énergie sans fil établissent une liaison de communication sans fil. Le dispositif de transmission d'énergie sans fil transmet des informations sur les capacités de transmission de puissance sans fil du dispositif de transmission d'énergie sans fil au dispositif de réception d'énergie sans fil. Le dispositif de réception sélectionne des paramètres souhaités et les transmet au dispositif de transmission.
