Polyurethane foams are made by curing a reaction mixture that contains an aromatic polyisocyanate, at least one isocyanate-reactive material having an average functionality of at least 2 and an equivalent weight of at least 200 per isocyanate-reactive group, at least one blowing agent, at least one surfactant and at least one catalyst, at least one cyclic 1, 3-diketone compound and optionally least one antioxidant. Foams so produced emit low levels of both formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.

La présente invention concerne des mousses de polyuréthane qui sont obtenues par durcissement d'un mélange réactionnel qui contient un polyisocyanate aromatique, au moins un matériau réactif aux isocyanates ayant une fonctionnalité moyenne d'au moins 2 et un poids équivalent d'au moins 200 par groupe réactif aux isocyanates, au moins un agent gonflant, au moins un tensioactif et au moins un catalyseur, au moins un composé cyclique 1,3-dicétone et éventuellement au moins un antioxydant. Les mousses ainsi produites émettent de faibles niveaux de formaldéhyde et d'acétaldéhyde.
